Kora the Shepherd
A great canine cop
So many town crimes
That she worked to stop
She always sniffed out
The illegal drugs
And took a big bite
Of quite a few thugs
For eight years she served
With Ed Rocheleau
The two also found
Some illicit dough
The Wasson Memorial
Award she received
For all the busts
They both had achieved
With vest and with shield
And a friendly glow
They met lots of kids
On their school road show
Now she has left us
May she rest in peace
She will be missed by
West Hartford Police

Does get its way
Call it “Park Kora”
Where all dogs can play
